Sky Bet Targets Fantasy Sports with Dribble Deal

Sky Betting and Gaming has revealed that it has joined forces with fantasy football expert Dribble in an endeavor to enhance its offering into the UK Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) market.

In terms of the new agreement signed between the parties the  Dribble Daily Fantasy Sports product will be integrated under the Sky Bet brand, strengthening its real-money fantasy sports content.

The agreement will also complement the current Sky Games offering of Soccer Saturday Super 6, Sky Sports Fantasy Football, Sky Sports Fantasy Six a Side and Sporting Life Pick 7.

The Managing Director of Sky Betting & Gaming, Ted Moss, commented on the agreement by saying that they have been watching the Daily Fantasy market flourish in the United States and that this will be their way of understanding how big this type of product could be on their shores.

The Dribble Daily Fantasy Sport product is available for the English Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup as well as North America’s Major League Soccer.

Dribble Chief Executive Officer, Nicholas Wright added that having a household betting name like Sky Bet behind them shows that a game where fantasy players are actually rewarded for playing is the way forward. He also said that this is a big win for daily fantasy in the UK and they are excited to work with such a forward-thinking brand that challenges the betting space.

Joe Miraheri, Head of Sky Games at Sky Betting & Gaming said that Dribble’s fresh and disruptive approach to Fantasy Football has really impressed both early users and internal staff.
