Cell Phone Donation -- Frequently Asked
Questions
How do battered
women benefit from my cell phone donation?
The cash value of each donated cell phone is donated to the
Support Network in your name. These funds are used to support
critical emergency services to thousands of battered women and their
children.
How long does it take to receive the shipping
materials?
Approximately one week.
How much money is donated to SNBW when I donate my
phone?
Once you have identified the type of cell phone you will be
donating, the dollar amount that will be given to the Support
Network will appear on the screen.
Will I get a receipt for my donation?
When you have completed your online donation transaction, print
the last page with the transaction number on it and use it as your
donation receipt. The Support Network will also mail you a
thank you letter that can be used as a receipt for tax purposes.
If WirelessFundraiser.com does not accept my cell
phone can I still donate it?
If the WirelessFundraiser.com website will not accept your cell
phone model as a donation you can drop it off or mail it to the
Support Network for Battered Women.
How do I organize a group cell phone drive to help
battered women?
This is a great way to help battered women! You and/or your group
can collect cell phones and sort them using the
WirelessFundraiser.com website. Click onto the “Donate Your
Cell Phone” button and enter the model information for the phones
you have collected. You will then learn exactly how much money
your group has raised.
Do Support Network clients have access to
emergency cell phones?
Yes. Our clients have access to free emergency cell phones
to call 911 if they are in danger.
If I still have questions, whom can I contact?
